Erratum

Error in a Table

From the Editor:

In a recent article by Brussee and coworkers, entitled "Interrupter Resistance and Wheezing Phenotypes at 4 Years of Age" (1), Table 1 was published in an inaccurate format by the Journal. The mistake occurs in the column headings of Table 1 (page 210), which deals with the numbers of children per wheezing phenotype. The correct numbers are: total: n = 838; never: n = 482; early: n = 236; late: n = 22; and persistent: n = 98. In the published article, the numbers for total are missing, while other listed numbers are never: n = 838; early: n = 482; late: n = 236; and persistent: n = 98.

Dr. Brussee had checked the galley proofs and the error was not present at that time. The error occurred in the final stages of production by the publisher. Dr. Brussee was not responsible for the error. I apologize on behalf of AJRCCM to Dr. Brussee and colleagues. The Journal has requested PubMed to take note of our mistake.

Martin J. Tobin, Editor
