Erratum: Application of an Algorithm for the Diagnosis of Asthma in Chinese Families

Limitations and Alternatives for the Phenotypic Assessment of Asthma in Family-based Genetic Studies

To the Editor:

We wish to make a correction to our 2000 article (1). We incorrectly stated, "Data were collected by faculty members of Anhui Medical University and trained interviewers between July 1, 1994 and January 26, 1998." Instead, this statement should read, "Subject enrollment started in February 1995, after obtaining local Chinese IRB approval. Brigham and Women's Hospital IRB approval was received in September 1995."

We regret the inconvenience that this error has caused.
